Not your average letter
What's it about?
Beyond the noise. We write only about what matters.
The mailbox used to hold something worth running to. A letter from a friend. A postcard from somewhere far away. A small surprise that made the ordinary feel a little more alive.
Somewhere along the way, it became a place for bills, government notices, and junk. Opening the post became just another task — something to dread, sort, and discard.
Lucky 13 Post exists to reclaim that moment. We believe your mailbox deserves to hold something beautiful again — a hand-created art print, a personal letter, a gentle prompt to pause and play. Something tactile, intentional, and entirely yours.
No algorithms. No urgency. No screen required. Just a monthly envelope that turns an ordinary Tuesday into something to look forward to.
Lucky 13 Post: because opening your mail should feel like a gift.

"When my Lucky 13 envelope arrives, I actually feel giddy. It's the only thing in my mailbox that isn't a demand. It's just for me."

Who's writing
And, more importantly, why this newsletter exists.
Robbyn is an Irish illustrator and visual storyteller who has spent her career finding the image that says what words can't quite manage.
Hermina came to Lucky 13 via theatre, research, experience design, and a Substack written in Croatian (yes, really). Her world is shaped by social linguistics, semiotics, and phenomenology — the study of how meaning is made, shared, and felt. She facilitates learning and wellbeing programmes, runs her own creative ventures, and has a rare gift for noticing the invisible structures that hold culture together.
"We met somewhere between an idea and a postbox, and decided the world needed more whimsy in its letterboxes."
Between us, we bring together art, psychology, storytelling, and the science of how humans make sense of things. What we've learned — across studios, stages, therapy rooms, and research projects — is that the smallest, most tangible things carry the most meaning. A hand-drawn image. A letter written just for you. Something to touch.
We started Lucky 13 Post because we were tired of a world that felt urgent and heavy and very, very digital. We wanted to make something slow. Something you could hold. Something that turned an ordinary Tuesday into a small occasion.
